In this episode of Kunes Car Convos...
Buckle up for an incredible journey as we ride along with Evan Ferguson, our talented videographer, and the amazing Pam Patterson, founder and CEO of Agape House, in a sleek 2024 Ford Mustang GT Premium. This isn't just any car ride; it's a heartwarming story of love, hope, and transformation that'll rev up your spirits!
Agape House, celebrating its 26th anniversary, is more than just a name. Agape, meaning unconditional and never-ending love, perfectly describes the house's mission. Founded in Delavan and now thriving in Walworth, it's a beacon of hope for hurting teens and families, offering counseling, schooling, and a residential program.
Our story with Pam starts 37 years back when she and her husband stepped into the role of foster parents. Their first act of kindness was taking in her husband's nieces and nephew, who were escaping an abusive home. This blossomed into a calling to start a Christian Children's Home. What started in their home, under Pam's loving care as a house mom, has grown into a much larger mission.
Transitioning from a hands-on role to a CEO was a big leap for Pam. But, this change allowed Agape House to expand, providing education and counseling for emotionally struggling kids. Pam reflects on missing the early days, but takes pride in how the house now offers a more comprehensive ministry.
Pam shares awe-inspiring stories of God's provision, from unexpected legal help to timely bread donations. The most rewarding part, though? Seeing the transformation in the kids’ lives, from their first steps into her office to becoming healed and whole individuals.
The Agape family grew with the addition of a boys home, a decision initially daunting to Pam. Yet, after prayer and community support, a nearby church generously provided a building, allowing Agape to extend its loving services to boys as well.
Agape House thrives on community support, never turning away a child due to finances. From volunteering to donations, there's always a way for everyone to contribute to this noble cause.
Pam emphasizes that while their foundation is Christian, Agape House opens its doors to all, offering love and healing regardless of religious beliefs. Their guiding principle? Love conquers all.
Don't miss Agape House's exciting events, like the Christmas Open House and the Walk, Run, Stroll 5k. These events not only celebrate the spirit of Agape House but also support its mission.

Pam's final words resonate with hope and encouragement. In a world where isolation can be overwhelming, she reminds us that we're never truly alone. There's always someone to turn to, be it Agape House, a friend, or faith.
This Kunes Car Convo with Pam Patterson isn't just a story about a home; it's a journey through the power of unconditional love and the miracles it can create. And what better way to cruise through this inspiring tale than in the stunning 2024 Ford Mustang GT Premium, a symbol of power, grace, and the drive to make a difference.
Keep fueling the flames of hope and always remember, by working together, we can create a positive impact in the lives of children, one at a time!
